Slightly showery. Went after lunch to the London Zoo at Regents Park. Pretty gardens but very small, animals all in cages. Showers off and on. Got very tired. Got back to Hotel for dinner. Went and had a milk shake afterwards. Mrs Webb came round. Promised to go and see the Dr tomorrow, looking awful.

Booked my trip for France and Switzerland, had lunch. Mrs E and I went to Hampton Court, and went all through the Palace, miles of walking. Gardens were lovely, hundreds there. Had tea and had the deers putting their heads in the window, was a lovely day, plenty of sunshine. Could not see all the gardens – got too tired. Home late for dinner.
