Lovely sunny day – had breakfast in bed, stayed in for dinner then went out at 7 for supper with the Hall girls. Came back about 9.30. The other N.Z. arrived home today from Scotland, after a good holiday, in spite of the rain.

First bit of summer I have felt. Posted some parcels, did some writing. Got letter from Miss Cantor, answered it straight away. Went to Overseas Club – to see Miss Nordor – gave me tickets for Polo Roehampton Club – Ashtons playing – had milk shakes at night – with Molly and Dorothy.

Got more letters today, what I should have got last week – sent 4 parcels away to Sydney – had lunch then went to see the Moonlight Sonata, very good, Paderewiski – after dinner went out with Molly & Dorothy – Mrs Hall’s birthday – still very ill – at Lewisham Hospital
