Arrived this morning. Fiji very clean & fresh looking. Went ashore, had a short walk around, posted P.C. to Sep [Thirza’s nephew, John Septimus Patterson]. Bought 3 rings, stayed on board after lunch, and had a rest.

Rather showery. Elsie & I went for a drive into Bo’ness, then after tea called on Mr McDougall. His wife was out, so promised to call again on Tuesday night. We all had a nice drive home & early to bed, for once. Posted parcel to Sep [John Septimus Patterson, Thirza’s nephew] – should reach him for his birthday.
