Arrived at Regina about 6.30, very cold and wet. Went to stay at Mrs Hodges. Very nice home, and we are all very comfortable. We are all very tied, had a big day, from Brandon.

Cross the line into Canada again, got to Winnipeg. Had lunch & called on Mrs V. Stocks. Very nice home, all stayed on to dinner. Made us very welcome. Left about 9.30 for camp in Osborne St. Had a good nights rest, very wet.
The autumn leaves the colouring very pretty – falling leaves make a terrible mess.

Left St Cloud this morning, another cold day. Passed Wadena, Detroit Lakes, Erskine, Crookston, and am staying the night at Emerson, about 25 from the Canadian Border [actually right on the border in Canada], in one of the cabins on the road. Very comfy.
